Project Overview: JWG Indonesia–France XIII 2024

The 13th Indonesia–France Joint Working Group (JWG) 2024 was a prestigious international forum organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia in collaboration with the French Government. Hosted by Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA), the event served as a strategic platform to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Indonesia and France in the fields of higher education, research, innovation, culture, and human resource development.

As one of the most significant Indonesia–France academic cooperation forums, JWG brought together approximately 350 delegates from more than 70 universities, research institutions, government agencies, and strategic partners from both countries. The forum facilitated high-level discussions, institutional networking, research collaborations, student and faculty mobility programs, scholarship opportunities, innovation partnerships, and sustainable development initiatives.

Throughout the event, participants engaged in a wide range of activities, including plenary sessions, thematic discussions, academic networking forums, institutional partnership meetings, cultural exchange programs, research showcases, and bilateral cooperation dialogues. These activities aimed to foster long-term partnerships and create new opportunities for collaboration between Indonesian and French institutions in addressing global challenges through education, science, and innovation.
